Today, we are proud to report that famed conceptual artist Kevin Abosch's ‘Spider-Stan’ NFT resold for over $191,000 (61 ETH) on Portion's secondary market! It first sold on Portion for 61 ETH back in February 2021 for 61 ETH, or $88K at the time. This portrait of Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee by Kevin Abosch was taken in Los Angeles in 1996. The portrait is scheduled to land on the moon on NASA’s United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket.

Kevin Abosch (born 1969) is an Irish conceptual artist known for his works in photography, sculpture, installation, AI, blockchain and film. Abosch's work addresses the nature of identity and value by posing ontological questions and responding to sociologic dilemmas. Abosch's work has been exhibited throughout the world, often in civic spaces, including The Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg, The National Museum of China, The National Gallery of Ireland, Jeu de Paume ( Paris), The Irish Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina, The Bogotá Museum of Modern Art, ZKM (Zentrum für Kunst und Medien) and Dublin Airport.
Kevin famously sold a photograph of a potato for over $1M dollars. He then went on and sold the first digital Rose back in 2018 for $1M Dollars to a collective group of supporters. There has been nearly 1,000 ETH of trading volume on his latest series, "888." Kevin will receive 11% royalties in Portion token ($PRT) on this latest secondary sale of "Spider-Stan."
